Romford Town are off to Ponds Forge International Pool Sheffield for the Swim England National Winter Championships.  The event is the biggest English meet of the winter calendar, with some of Britain’s top senior swimmers involved in the short course 25m pool.  All swimmers have to reach a stringent qualifying time in order to compete.

Daniel Gencas 16, has the busiest schedule, competing in 7events: the 50m, 100m, 200m 400m and 1500 freestyle, 50m Butterfly and 400 IM.

Jess Ayling 18, is racing the 50m Breaststroke,

Lewis Clifford-Stephenson 26 (Not pictured), will be sprinting in the 50m Freestyle.

Amelia Moule 16, takes on the longer distance of 800m Freestyle.

The young team are hoping to race with the best and set some fast times to end the year on a high.
