Romford Town swimmers had a final chance to qualify for Essex County Championships at their Christmas Cracker Gala held at the 50M Olympic pool at the London Aquatic Centre.   Swimmers from 34 clubs and 5 counties in the South East competed over the weekend

A clash with the prestigious National Arena League club competition meant that many of Town’s swimmers could not complete a full program.  However that did not deter . . . . . .

Harlow Winter County Qualifier 2019

Romford Town Swimming Club travelled to the Harlow Penguins Open Meet last weekend.  Forty of their swimmers competed against 290 others from 14 clubs in the region, all hoping to gain Essex County qualifying times for the Championships in January, while trying to win a fair share of the medals on offer too.

Romford town swimmers enjoyed a great weekend of long distance racing at East Ham Leisure Centre.  For many it was their first time at attempting distance swims.  However, that didn’t hold them back as results showed many bests and county qualifying times were achieved.

London Winter Champs 2019

RTSC travelled to the iconic pool at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park for the London Regional Winter Swimming Championships.  Here the best swimmers from 40 teams and 32 London boroughs battled over 2 days to become regional Open and Junior Champions.

Town’s swimmers had a superb weekend, and came away with 5 medals, 20 top10 finishes and set many Personal Best Times.

Daniel Gencas 16 and swimming in the Mens Open category for the first time, followed up on his success from the Essex Winter Championships, to win a silver in . . . . . .
